New in Audio Library: The Radical Intimacy of Spiritual Ecology; This talk, given at St. Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace in London, delves into the transformative practice of spiritual ecology. It emphasizes awakening a deep, primordial memory of the Earth as a sacred, living being—a radical act in a culture that has largely forgotten this sacred connection. Remembering our intimate relationship with the Earth is a vital spiritual responsibility of our time. By recognizing and embracing this truth in our hearts, we sustain a practice of love and care for the suffering Earth—a being we are, and have always been, inherently part of.
New in Audio Library: Simplicity and Discernment; In this talk, Emmanuel Vaughan-Lee reflects on being a mystic in an increasingly toxic world. He emphasizes the importance of discernment in making choices that align with what truly matters. Being attentive and remembering the simplicity of life are essential elements. By turning toward the Beloved with love and embracing responsibility, we can live in the world without being swayed by it, creating a vessel in our hearts for God.

New in Audio Library: These talks, given at a retreat in Devon during the summer of 2024, delve into the profound role of prayer and the mystical journey. The first two talks outline the stages of the path and the role of prayer. The third talk centers on the power of the dhikr, the fourth talk explores the importance of including the Earth in our prayers, the fifth talk offers a framework for understanding prayer as projection, and the final talk highlights how listening serves as a central form of prayer for the mystic.
New in Audio Library: This talk was a keynote given during a conference on Spiritual Ecology and Peace Building at St. Ethelburga’s Centre for Reconciliation and Peace in July 2024. It explores an essence of spiritual ecology that connects memory, prayer, and spirit. We share a spiritual connection with the Earth which has been covered over by our collective forgetfulness. How might we rekindle this connection with the Earth and embrace a way of being that returns to ancient truths? Central to this exploration is prayer, which fosters a space of listening and reverence.

New in Audio Library: Three talks were given at a retreat on the theme of Remembering Earth Time at The Sharpham Trust in Devon, UK, in April 2024. The Axis of All Things explores the ways in which we have extracted time from the fabric of creation and turned it into a tool of control and a marker of progress. By reducing its mystery into a singular expression—the tick of the clock—we have forgotten the axis of love that runs through time. Time and Place explores the profound connection between time and place. It highlights how this intimate relationship can be awakened, fostering ties of kinship, when we attune our senses to the cyclical rhythms present in the landscapes surrounding us. Remembering Earth Time offers a perspective for understanding Earth time that transcends linear thinking. It emphasizes the principles and practices of spiritual ecology which enables the essence of love to emerge.
New in Audio Library: London Seminar Talks. These talks were given at a seminar in London in April 2024. Form and Formlessness speaks to the formless and adaptable outer nature of the tradition and how the forms of the wayfarer’s inner life evolve and shift as the journey unfolds. The Individual Nature of the Journey highlights the individual nature of the wayfarer’s journey, and how even within a tradition each soul must be treated individually, just as ultimately each soul finds their own way back to God.

New in Audio Library: On Simplicity. Given on Zoom on New Year’s Day, this talk reflects on simplicity as a rediscovery of the essential, an inner space from which a practice of simplicity flows. This inner space not only aids in maintaining the mystic’s inward alignment but also serves as a sanctuary and place of protection in toxic and tumultuous times.

New in Video Library: Shifting Landscapes. Given at St Ethelburga’s Center for Reconciliation and Peace in London in November 2023, this talk speaks to the possibility of profound inner transformation amid the great changes that are engulfing the Earth and explores the need to step away from a human-centric paradigm and towards a remembrance of the Earth as divine being. As so much falls away, what can we offer to the Earth? How can we orient ourselves in relationship with her? What opens when love becomes present between us?
